The Background

Born of a Mother from the Twelveswood and a noble born father from Ishgard and the eldest of three siblings, Australis is the ninth heir to the Cludorelle name and, when not aiding the less fortunate souls he meets, spends lots of time engaging in debauchery.
From the age of 16-springs-old to his early 20's, Australis was taken under the wing of a warrior named Ancient Mountain; a mysterious individual who, while carefree, did not delve deep into their history in conversation. Mountain saw Australis’ desire to fight for those less fortunate than him even at the cost of bloodied knuckles and swollen, bruised cheeks. The courage he held in the face of such dangers and the desire to fight and protect led Ancient Mountain to train Australis properly.
From there the two trained in upper mountains of Coerthas every few months, as Ancient Mountain was not the kind of person to dwell in one spot for long. Though once they returned they would see how far Australis had come without them.
Even well after Australis entered his 30's and after "the freeze" came, there was time spent in the brutal cold that Ancient Mountain and Australis would train, so much so that Australis' body grew conditioned to the snow.Although the religious city was where his routine ‘sensual escapades’ first began, Australis couldn't help but want for more excitement. After a particularly heinous incident (in the eyes of the church) that he was involved in painted his family in a not-so-great light, Australis took the opportunity to pack his belongings, gather his three trusted servants, and make for the roads of Eorzea.At 30-springs-old he found himself traveling until he had made his way to Ul'dah; where the sun was warm on his skin and the desire for power and money drew him ever closer.
Australis’s big heart would never truly seem full as he became acquainted with the locals of Ul’dah, even with people he’d just met, he always seemed to want to help. It didn’t help that Australis learned about the struggle between the upper and lower classes either, which only reminded him of the streets of Ishgard. But since there was no church to get in his way…Australis found himself delving more and more into the ‘sleazy playboy’ stereotype of sleeping around, but the ones who seemed to be less-than-savory individuals with impure intentions were the ones Australis took from. A nobleman turned thief for the benefit of the less fortunate, if you will.It was during this time that he sought to help in other ways too. Since many couldn’t afford the price of some doctors, Australis took up chirurgeon studies and astrology, and as of now has upgraded to healing magicks. With these skills to heal, and the skills to fight as a Monk (or ‘Brawler’ in his case), Australis goes on to occasionally work as a bodyguard for hire (as well as a self-appointed bodyguard) for people who need a gentle soul to protect them.Now, the currently 35-springs-old elezen occupies his time currently with chirurgeon studies, brawler training, tending to family matters (as someone who will soon take over arrangements and such) and running a family-owned brewery known as the Cozy Karakul, where they produce one of Australis’ favorite liquor; vanilla-bean whiskey.Oh, and sex. Lots and lots of that.
